Sometimes you see a tool that caters to the desire to create something without any work at all. Something that, at first blush, seems like good design, but on closer inspection is just a cheap, cookie-cutter tool for cranking out mediocre material. The sheer lack of integrity alone is enough to make you scream.
On the other hand, sometimes these are the kind of tools that make it possible to get a job done, and off your plate. No time to be precious about it, jut get things done and move on.
Either way you see it, here’s a collection of tools that you’ll either hate or love. Let me know what tasty selections I’m missing, and I’ll add them to the collection with credit to the finder, and a link to your site.
- Typeslab is a nifty little tool for creating a block-style poster with just a couple of choices for fonts. I used it to create the cheesy logo for this collection.
On another note, Check out the new Freesources page, where you can find great free tools to get your work done.
